Superior Genetics Annual Online Kiko Sale: Click here to view catalog & bid
In 2023 Kiko breeders will have the opportunity to attend nearly 20 Kiko sales across the United States. Buyers are now being forced to pick and choose which events to attend due to travel distance and busy work schedules. This is also restricting the genetics available to breeders across the country. Superior Genetics Online Sale hopes to solve that problem for many potential buyers by bringing the sale to the comfort of their own homes.
Triple M Goats and M. R. Goats will be hosting the online sale this March. Harvey Plus LLC, a third-party auction service, will be handling the confidential bidders’ numbers and sale platform. This proven sale platform, layout, and bidding structure is based on the system that we successfully used and is being used in the cattle, sheep, boer goat, and spanish goat industries. The guest consignors this year will be PJM Goats, Chey View Kikos, Chapman Kikos, Hubbard Hill Kikos, USA Kikos, Whispering Oaks Kikos, Sterling V Ranch, and Hancock Kiko Farm. This sale will bring together reputable consignors from across the United States, offering approximately 18 does and 11 lots of semen and/or embryo straws.
The goats will be presented in the most accurate and buyer friendly way possible. With hopes of giving buyers more than enough information to feel comfortable and confident purchasing online. Pictures will show multiple angles of the animal and short videos will show the buyer how the animal moves. A picture of the animal’s eyelids will also allow you to determine the animals FAMACHA score which can be linked to their internal parasite load. Potential buyers are encouraged to contact the consignors for any additional information.
Online auctions offer a very unique feature for buyers. Buyers can bid using a computer or mobile device through a simple online registration process. Following the sale, you will be emailed a digital receipt and contacted by the seller to initiate the pickup or drop off process.
Buyers can pay for their lots via mailed check or credit card payment online!
Every buyer wishes they could go back and buy their second favorite lot because their favorite lot was later in the sale and went out of their price range. Online sales allow you to bid on all animals at once and the auction will not close until no bids have been received for 5 minutes, on any of the lots. This will keep you from passing on a goat you would buy to save up for one later in the sale order. The hosts have also strategically picked the sale date early in the calendar year before the Green Country Invitational, Mountain Premier Invitational, and NKR Spotlight Sale. This will allow consignors to deliver animals to the various sales they plan to attend.
Delivery of all goats in last year’s sale were delivered to the buyers free of charge. Although we cannot guarantee that for this year’s sale you can rest assured that all of the consignors will work diligently together to assist buyers in every possible way to minimize transportation costs.
Consignors will also facilitate drop off for animals purchased in another consignor’s region of the United States by working together as a group. Drop off will also be available along the consignor’s routes to and from any sale they attend. Animals can also be picked up on the seller farms, giving buyers multiple free and hassle-free opportunities to get their animals.
