Superior Genetics Annual Online Kiko Sale
In 2021 Kiko breeders will have the opportunity to attend nearly 20 Kiko sales across the United States. Buyers are now being forced to pick and choose which events to attend due to travel distance and busy work schedules. This is also restricting the genetics available to breeders across the country. Superior Genetics Online Sale hopes to solve that problem for many potential buyers by bringing the sale to the comfort of their own homes.
Triple M Goats and M. R. Goats will be hosting the online sale this March. Harvey Plus Auctions, a third-party auction service, will be handling the confidential bidders’ numbers and sale platform. This proven sale platform, layout, and bidding structure is based on the system that we successfully used last year and is being used in the cattle, sheep, boer goat, and spanish goat industries. The guest consignors this year will be Boulder Hills Farm, PJM Goats, Chey View Kikos, Chapman Kikos, Hubbard Hill Kikos, USA Kikos and Rolling Meadows Farm. This sale will bring together reputable consignors from across the United States, offering approximately 15 does and 15 lots of semen and/or embryo straws.
The goats will be presented in the most accurate and buyer friendly way possible. With hopes of giving buyers more than enough information to feel comfortable and confident purchasing online. Pictures will show multiple angles of the animal and short videos will show the buyer how the animal moves. A picture of the animal’s eyelids will also allow you to determine the animal's FAMACHA score which can be linked to their internal parasite load. Potential buyers are encouraged to contact the consignors for any additional information.
Online auctions offer a very unique feature for buyers. Buyers can bid using a computer or mobile device through a simple online registration process. Following the sale, you will be emailed a digital receipt and contacted by the seller to initiate the pickup or drop off process.
Buyers can pay for their lots via mailed check, Paypal or credit card payment online!
Every buyer wishes they could go back and buy their second favorite lot because their favorite lot was later in the sale and went out of their price range. Online sales allow you to bid on all animals at once and the auction will not close until no bids have been received for 5 minutes, on any of the lots. This will keep you from passing on a goat you would buy to save up for one later in the sale order. The hosts have also strategically picked the sale date early in the calendar year before the CUSKGA, Mountain Premier Invitational, and NKR Spotlight. This will allow consignors to deliver animals to the various sales they plan to attend.
Delivery of all goats in last year's sale were delivered to the buyers free of charge. Although we cannot guarantee that for this year's sale you can rest assured that all of the consignors will work diligently together to assist buyers in every possible way to minimize transportation costs.
Consignors will also facilitate drop off for animals purchased in another consignor’s region of the United States by working together as a group. Drop off will also be available along the consignor’s routes to and from any sale they attend. Animals can also be picked up on the seller farms, giving buyers multiple free and hassle-free opportunities to get their animals.

6) AUTO EXTEND FEATURE - Please note when bidding, there is an auto-extend feature on
this online auction system. The auto-extend feature time frame is set by the auction company.
For this example the auto-extend feature is set at 5 minutes - If someone bids in the last 5
minutes immediately prior to the end of the auction, the online auction system will automatically
extend the bidding time for a 5 minute increment (and will continue to do so) until there is a 5
minute period (after the original closing time) where no one bids, then the auction will close.
This feature will leave the bidding open for all lots. This feature has been added to eliminate
sniping and to make the online bidding process fairer and to resemble a 'live' auction. Keep in
mind that seconds are not recorded with bid entries. A bid recorded at 5:30 and 40 seconds will
have a recorded bid time of 5:30. Bid & refresh immediately and often.
7) VIEWING - The Buyers are afforded a time specific stated opportunity (or viewing by
appointment) to inspect the property prior to final close of the online bidding for the auction. The
Buyers are relying solely on their investigations and inspections, and not any representations
made by the Sellers, Auctioneers, their licensees, employees and agents or descriptions posted
online. The Buyers hereby waive any and all further inspections. The Buyers fully agree and
understand that they are purchasing the property in an 'As-Is Where-Is' condition, with all its
goodness and faults. The Sellers, Auctioneers, their licensees, employees and agents, make no
representations, guarantees or warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, statutory or
otherwise of any nature whatsoever.
8) MAXIMUM BID: When you bid your maximum bid, the current bid price does not
automatically advance to your maximum bid. Another bidder has to bid to increase the current
price and the computer will automatically, competitively bid up to your maximum in the
increments specified. It is advised by Auction Company to bid your highest and best bid as soon
as possible to have the best chance of being the successful bidder at the close of the auction. It is
the sole responsibility of the bidder to understand how the system works. Buyer hereby
acknowledges he/she has had adequate time to read the auction's terms and conditions and by
bidding, acknowledges that he/she understands all aspects of the auction and bidding system.

of the software to function properly for any reason.
